因为时间紧促，我们不可能拉网式的搜索，且大鲵的活动频繁时间一般出现在黄昏时候，而我们得赶晚上的车回重庆，所以经过半个小时的搜寻未果后，我们只好返回。

老百姓侃侃而谈，给了我们很多支持

通过交谈，我们可以非常肯定，我们考察的这条河里盛产大鲵。他们多次见到，且有人来此处捕捉，甚至他们村里还有户人家养了一条10斤多重的。至于侯老师想求证的一种小鲵，村民表示未曾注意到过。此外，当地还盛产五步蛇，野鸡花（竹叶青），原矛头蝮等多种有毒和无毒蛇。是一个资源丰富的地方。所以，此种未知的小鲵在此处出现，也很有可能。

    同时，由此我们可以看出当地对环境资源保护的宣传还是很重视的。村民们都知道娃娃鱼是不能捕杀的，抓到要判刑，且一般当地人都不捕杀。只有个别外来的贩子悄悄来捕。
    环境资源保护的意识还是有的，但也不是很科学和全面。比如说他们表示，一般遇到毒蛇都打死。这是习惯。让人不禁汗颜。
    侯老师得知这一情况之后，当场就给他们上了课，联系实际，从毒蛇对人的危害性到对庄稼的重要作用，给他们进行了详细的讲解。
    这让我很触动：我们的动物学家们并不是光知道做学问的，他们研究的最终目的还是为了保护这些物种，所以他们的环保意识相当强。时刻以此为己任，不遗余力。

我们继续往回走，侯老师的研究方向是龟和蜥蜴，但交谈中发现他对无尾类两栖动物也很感兴趣。他十分想了解一下当地的蛙类分布，就在这时，他的经验告诉他：这里一定有！

司机停车后，有些嘲讽的说，那（1）是老百姓储藏生活用水的地方，水深得很，怎么可能有蛙。然而侯老师坚信，凭经验来说，这里面往往会有掉进去的蛙。

来到塘边，发现池子果然很深，而池边，果然发现了两只不幸掉进去的蛙。

捕捉后，发现后者是比较常见的黑斑蛙，当场放生。
而前者，疑是沼蛙或湖北蛙，但有些特征又不太一样，加上侯老师他们准备出一本蛙类图鉴，故决定进行照相。

以前给动物照相，也没觉得有什么特别的，这次看了侯老师照相，才知道原来还有这么多学问。
  首先要找个合适的背景，绿绿的苔藓，正好衬托，并能反映蛙的栖息地的状态。
   既不能把蛙弄伤，又要它老实，简单，拿起来轻轻的摇几圈，蛙就晕头转向了，呵呵，这下就可以造型了。
   完了还要摆个酷酷的造型，恩~~这个不错，正面，侧面，腹部，一个都不能少。

   最后，GPS也用上了。测一下当地的海拔，经纬度，记录。

    拍完了后，侯老师的举动又一次让我触动：他把蛙放入旁边一个野水塘里，却久久不愿离去。原来他是要看那只蛙有没有受伤。
看了良久，还是不放心，他又掉头去把网子拿来，准备把蛙再捞起来，换个浅水的地方给他休息。
    他的这一举动受到了围观的老百姓的嘲讽，认为不就是一只普通的蛙吗？用得着这么认真吗？
    我想，平时，对于这种比较普遍的蛙，我们能不把它弄死就已经很好了。可对于这样一个见识过无数稀有品种的动物学家来说这样一只再普通，对再微小不过的一只蛙都这么在乎，实在让我对他心生敬意。可以看出他对生命的尊重，爱怜。
