Percocypris pingi [perchcarp, 鲈鲤] how to keep them?

Percocypris Pingi is a predatory fish. They will attack and eat small fish, like Elopichthys bambusa.

maximum length of about 50 cm.

Thanks.  However its mouth seem smaller than Hampala barb here in Indochina.  Can it eat fish about one third its size or larger?  And is it territorial?

The best temperature for this fish is between 11~17.so ....

So it is not tolerate of warm water?  Here Spinibarbus denticulatus and Zacco/Opsariichthys do very well in warm water.

I think it cann't eat about one third size. My guess is that it predatory power equivalent of Spinibarbus hollandi.

Spinibarbus denticulatus and Zacco/Opsariichthys wasn't Cold water fish.

So perchcarp is from cold water?

If you're in Thailand raising Percocypris pingi, you need cold water machine.

I think I should give up on the idea {:4_107:}  Thanks.  What about Coreius sp.[铜鱼]?
